A note of reflection from GGC Founder Marie Grace Uwingabire

Grace Girls Coalition (GGC) started as a dream, an idea rooted in creating opportunities for young girls to learn, grow, and build better futures. Two years now, that dream is becoming reality. I still remember signing our very first agreement on a piece of napkin. At the time, I honestly thought it was a joke. Looking back today, it reminds me that every big journey can begin i

I used to wake up at 4:00 AM and walk almost 4 hours one way to buy sugarcanes, then carry them back another 4 hours to my neighborhood so I could sell them and get money for food.
