A new chapter is unfolding under the Water Is Life Project as the construction of a 50 cubic metre water storage tank continues in Rweru Sector, Bugesera District.
This milestone represents more than the construction of infrastructure , it represents hope, dignity, and a commitment to improving the daily lives of communities. For many families in Rweru Sector, access to clean and safe water remains a major challenge, and this project marks the beginning of a sustainable solution to address this need.

Once completed, the water storage tank will help bring reliable access to water closer to the community, reducing the challenges faced by residents and contributing to better health, improved hygiene, and a stronger, more resilient community.
As the first tank established under the Water Is Life Project, this initiative sets the foundation for a broader vision: expanding access to clean water in other communities facing similar challenges. Every step of this construction brings us closer to a future where no community is left behind when it comes to accessing one of life’s most basic necessities.
Progress is happening, and every drop will make a difference.
