We are proud to share a significant milestone in our journey of empowering young women and girls in Rwanda. Yesterday, GGC was officially recognized among the most valued development partners of Musanze District during Musanze District Council Performance Exhibition Program 2021–2026, an event dedicated to showcasing key achievements and impact realized across the district.

The ceremony was attended by distinguished national and local leaders, including the Minister of Defense, the Governor of the Northern Province, and the Mayor of Musanze District, underscoring the importance of collaborative efforts in driving sustainable development.

During the event, GGC received an award in recognition of its outstanding contribution to the successful implementation of Imihigo and its role in promoting sustainable socio-economic development in Musanze District over the 2021–2026 period.

This recognition reflects the impact of GGC’s community-centered approach to empowering adolescent girls and young women. Through targeted programs in education, mentorship, entrepreneurship, and life skills development, GGC has supported girls to overcome barriers, build confidence, and transition into self-reliant, economically active members of their communities.

Our work in Musanze has contributed to improved access to education, strengthened leadership among young women, and the creation of income-generating opportunities aligning closely with district development priorities and national strategies for inclusive growth.

This achievement is the result of strong partnerships and collective commitment. We extend our sincere gratitude to Musanze District leadership, our partners, volunteers, and the communities we serve for their continued collaboration and trust.

As we celebrate this recognition, GGC remains committed to deepening its impact, scaling sustainable interventions, and continuing to invest in the potential of girls and young women.

We believe that empowering girls is not only a moral imperative, it is a strategic investment in resilient communities and a prosperous, inclusive future for Rwanda.
