From Learning to Leading: A Day of Inspiration in Kinigi

At Grace Girls Coalition (GGC) Learning Camp in Musanze, every day is designed to nurture growth, confidence, and connection. But some days go even further, turning lessons into lived experiences.

Today was one of those days.

Our girls had the opportunity to visit GGC alumnae in Kinigi, young women who once sat where they sit today, and who are now building their futures with courage and determination. These alumnae are working together in cooperatives, running their own businesses in fashion design and hairdressing, and creating sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their communities.

A Full-Circle Moment

For many of the girls, this visit was more than just an outing. It was a powerful moment of realization. They met women who had walked the same path, faced similar challenges, shared the same dreams, and chose to keep going. Seeing these alumnae thriving was a reminder that success is not distant or abstract, it is real, possible, and within reach.

Beyond the conversations, the visit created space for connection. There was laughter, shared meals, and moments of genuine bonding. The girls asked questions, exchanged ideas, and built relationships that go beyond the camp experience.
