A Ride to Opportunity: GGC Girls in Bugesera Receive Bicycles

Just weeks ago, we shared the story of Sandrine and other girls from Bugesera young, determined, and full of dreams, yet facing an incredibly difficult journey every single day.

Waking up at 2:00 AM, leaving home by 3:00 AM, and walking four hours one way just to attend training… only to walk another four hours back home.

It was a journey of resilience, but also one that came with exhaustion, risk, and hardship.

Today, that story has changed.

A Community That Listened and Acted

Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our incredible supporters and donors, we are proud to share that 10 bicycles have been provided to these girls.

What once felt like a daily struggle has now become a journey filled with hope, dignity, and possibility.

This is more than a donation it is a life-changing intervention.
